Technical Specifications
The ROCKET SUP DW COMP is made to paddle fast and to take-off even faster, while still benefiting from superb stability. This board is also designed to catch fast swells while using smaller foils that require a slightly higher take-off speed.
With a narrow width and a slim outline, especially in the nose and tail, this board delivers a super smooth glide, crisp acceleration, great directional stability, and more responsiveness in flight; all leading to an effortless, high-performance downwind session.
The ROCKET SUP DW COMP also benefits from a small step on the hull closer to the tail, on top of the one already present in front of the twin tracks. These two steps effectively reduce drag during take-off accelerations and touchdowns. The second step, in conjunction with a higher kicktail to minimize tail-water contact during pumping, creates a clean break to channel the water flow at the back without generating excessive drag when in motion.
The ROCKET SUP DW PRO is ideal for short to medium period bumps (think Mediterranean), while the ROCKET SUP DW COMP will take-off better in longer period swells (think Oahu) that are faster and require a longer and even narrower board.
This board benefits from a HD Foam Carbon Composite construction. This light and stiff construction increases the board's maneuverability and results in an even more direct feel of the foil. Control is absolute throughout the entire downwind, even at high speeds.
Longer and narrower than any other board in our range, the ROCKET SUP DW COMP is perfect for SUP foiling races, and for daring riders looking to go the extra mile on long open ocean crossings or in big, rolling swells.
Downwinding requires physical preparation, proper security devices (ie. leash, flashlight, safety vest), and assistance at sea. Please do not attempt any downwinders alone nor without proper training.

Twin-Tracks - The twin-tracks system with a lateral spacing of 90mm is one of the standards in the industry. The system is compatible with all foils featuring a top plate with four fastening bolts. The length of the tracks leaves some room to adjust the position of the foil on the board to help everyone reach their preferred balance.
Bamboo Deck - Using a layer of bamboo only on the deck, this construction has been optimized to guarantee the board is as light as possible, all while ensuring strength and durability as well.
Rail Saver - A double rail saver, combined with a reinforced construction along the rails and near the cockpit, protects the board from impacts and paddle hits.
Boardbag - All ROCKET SUP DW COMP CARBON boards are delivered with their own boardbags.
